  • Writing challenge #1: Fairy tales
  • In celebration of the new Stardust feature, here's a way to earn a bunch. Welcome to Starcatcher's first ever writing challenge!

For our first challenge, the theme is fairy tales. To participate, publish a story for the "Fairy Tales/Fables" category or the "Fantasy -- Children friendly" category before September 30, 2017. Your story can be a purely original work or an adaptation (e.g. a fan fiction of Cinderella). A poll will then appear (on this page) between Sep 30 and Oct 31 for readers to vote on their favourite stories. Your story must have at least 2000 words and at least 2 storylines (i.e. 2 branches) by Sep 30 to qualify, but it doesn't have to be finished. Works in progress are fine.

On Nov 1st, by the outcome of the poll, the story in first place will receive 500 stardust, and the runner-up will receive 300. In the event of a tie, the awards will be averaged and shared among the winners.

    Have fun!
